I didn't post one of your messages, since you wrote "Oswald" where you
obviously intended "Kennedy."

Google uses email addresses as a membership ID. The email used for my
membership ID is no longer valid. To change my email, I think I have to
create a new membership. I'll look into what that will take. It's been
years since I signed up for Google and subscribed to this newsgroup so I
have to figure out what all that entails.

In the meantime, was the message you tried to return a new thread or was
it a reply to an existing thread. I remember writing a reply to the "Covid
relief bill" thread that didn't show up so I figured I must have forgot to
hit the POST button. Since that is an off topic thread, I don't think that
message would have contained either Oswald or Kennedy. Other than that I
can't think of a message I sent that didn't get posted but my memory is
not as sharp as it once was. My long term memory is pretty sharp but short
term no so much. since

Don't remember. I just remember it said something about "Oswald
targeting Oswald." I assumed you meant "Oswald targeting Kennedy."

But I didn't want to unilaterally change it.

Don't worry. Targeting a sitting POTUS was pretty much a death wish so in
the end not so far off. ..Jack Ruby made sure of that!
