It is a completely unmoderated news group so you can imagine the dialog
that goes on over there. I don't know who coined the term "nuthouse" but
I've seen it used for years on this newsgroup in reference to the acj.

Thanks John, I didn't know there was another newsgroup. Any unmoderated
forum on this subject could well descend into being a "nuthouse". Even
some of the moderated forums have people turning on each other like
jackals!

Believe me it is interesting, but you will find no intelligent life over
there beyond the LNs that post like Hank Seinzant, Bud, and Chuck
Schuyler. Back when I had much more time I used to post over there, but I
am pretty sure my IQ fell 10 points every time I had to interact with Ben
and his fellow loons. Moreover, unless you have the stomach to to deal
with being accused of various forms of molestation and perversions by Ben
when he runs out of anything pseudo intelligent to say, I would definitely
read it a while before deciding to drop in.

claimed that Hitler was just a puppet of American industrialists like

The video is by John Hankey, I think the name is, and he does abandon
sobriety from time to time. But with all those strings, sometimes it is
hard to tell who is the puppet and who is the master. And given that
Hitler was the one who blew his own brains out while the American
capitalists rode the wave to wealth and power, it's easy to see why Hankey
made his call. But really, the German Nazis were simply outsmarted by the
American Nazis. Hitler was just a racist corporal, after all, not a
successful industrialist. He would have been an enthusiastic MAGA moron in
the American context.

That's a textbook example of "conspiracy history" that we have to try and
reason with. Oliver Stone's movie encapsulates this type of history, of
background to the assassination. It's the "JFK was going to end the Cold
War and that's why 'they' killed him" type of nonsense that we have to
correct, As I said before, just tell me who a JFK conspiracist dislikes,
who he thinks has ruined the country; and I'll tell you who they think
killed JFK. It's also why we have this odd alliance between far right
people and far left people. Both view "the Establishment" as being behind
the murder. For the left, it was the rightwing elements that run the
country; for the right, it's liberal elements that run the country. Both
see the same group as being behind the assassination; they just see this
group differently in terms of their political beliefs.

That must have been one hell of a planning session for the assassination.
Right wingers, left wingers, Israelis, Russians, Cubans, etc.

Oliver Stone's movie gave an air of legitimacy to the conspiracy theories.
To this day much of what many people "learned" about the assassination
came from that movie. They fail to realize it was a work of fiction based
loosely on a true story.
