LHO grew up in NO and had connections to OC
by his uncle and personally knew David Ferrie.
He had plenty of opportunity to have KGB contact
in Minsk and practice with weapons at the local
When he returned to NO he tried to join INTERPEN
but Gerry Hemming had bad vibes and turned him
down. He attempted to get friendly with AntiCastro
Cubans but they were not impressed. There seems
to be some kind of contact with FBI Guy Bannister.
When he was in jail for a shoving confrontation with
Cubans opposed to Castro he sought help from a
FBI Agent, not Bannister.
In Dallas he distributes Hands Off Cuba flyers in the
downtown area to attract attention. The City of Hate
ignores him. He contributes to the political discord
by taking a rifle shot at a local politician.
A new firing range opens on the westside of Dallas
and several witnesses report seeing someone who
looks like LHO practice there 3 different times prior
to the Presidential visit and parade. That person is
never seen again after the assassination.
Later a Cuban visitor to Dallas claims he met someone
who looked like LHO having lunch with a high ranking
CIA officer in a downtown restaurant before the visit by
the President. There were several rumors about LHO
being seen at the Carousel Club in conversation with
There is no doubt in Marina's mind LHO took a bus trip
to Mexico City in an effort to get a visa to Cuba. LHO
wrote a scathing letter to a Russian Ambassador in DC
how rudely he was treated as a Marxist advocate when
he made contact with both the Cuban and the Soviet
A few weeks later he takes his rifle to work on the same
day of the Presidential parade in Dallas. As the motorcade
crosses through Dealey Plaza shots are fired from the 6th
floor of the building where he works. Shortly afterward he
leaves his workplace and takes a cab home, leaving his rifle
on the 6th floor hidden between boxes. Three empty shells
are found next to a window on the 6th floor.
So the question is: Was LHO an outsider or insider in all of
this, or both?
